Emetic XXIII

DJ Home Movies thumbnail
DJ Home Movies Punishing warehouse techno that'll make your ears submit to heavy beats and shattered timbres. Tracks range from being cranked out through a letter-presser, marching in an undead Victorian army, and being assaulted by radio-chatter and aired screams. Favorite though was Ansome's mix, which turned from one-sided pleasurable agony into a theme for being chased by a murderous jack-in-the-box. Great stuff. Favorite track: Peeling Oranges with your Face (Ansome Remix).

about

Myler is no novice when it comes to the filthy side of techno. With releases on Mindcut and Pennyroyal to name a few, his sound and Emetic are a match made in heaven (or hell...). All three original tracks are heavy, dirty beasts that pound and scream but still super funky and fresh.
On remix duty this time is Ansome, with one of the best remixes to grace Emetic (and that's saying a lot considering the company he is in). Full on peak time techno assault. Blinder.

Played and supported by Perc, Marcel Dettmann, AnD, Darko Esser, Pär Grindvik, Mr. Jones, Bas Mooy, Sleeparchive, J. Tijn, Exium, Paul Mac, Kwartz, Henning Baer, Ryuji Takeuchi, Scalameriya, Sawf, DVNT and many more...
